There’s something quietly radical about this quote. In a world that often urges us to hide our wounds, Rumi reminds us that healing isn’t just restoration ;it’s illumination. As coaches, we don’t just help people “fix” what’s broken. We help them see what’s sacred in the breaking.
I’ve noticed that the most transformative moments in coaching often emerge not from polished plans, but from the raw edges, the places where someone says, “I don’t know,” or “I’m tired,” or “I’m afraid this won’t change.”
These aren’t signs of weakness. They’re thresholds. And when we hold space with presence, the light begins to seep in.
So this week, I’m leaning into the paradox: that the very places we fear might unravel us are often the ones that reveal us. May we meet our clients (and ourselves) not with solutions, but with sacred attention. The light knows where to enter.
Have a wonderful week.
Luc
