This past weekend, I found myself in the heart of London; surrounded by fellow coaches, mentors, and seekers. We came from different countries, backgrounds, and modalities, but we shared one thing: a deep commitment to growth, service, and transformation.
The event was more than a gathering. It was a reminder.
A reminder that coaching is not just a profession. It’s a calling. A sacred invitation to hold space for others; not to fix them, but to witness them. To guide them gently back to themselves.
One quote echoed through the room and stayed with me long after the final session:
“Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is a gift — that’s why it’s called the present.”
Its origin may be uncertain, but its truth is timeless.
As coaches, we often help clients unpack the past and envision the future. But the real work — the soul work — happens in the now. In the breath between breakthroughs. In the silence after a question. In the sacred pause where clarity begins to bloom.
At 57, I’ve lived through seasons of change, loss, and renewal. And this weekend reminded me that presence is not just a tool; it’s the transformation itself. It’s the moment where healing begins. Where courage is born. Where faith is felt.
Charlie Kirk, a fellow man of faith, once said:
“I want to be remembered for courage for my faith … the most important thing is my faith in my life.”
His words resonate deeply with me. And in light of his tragic passing, they carry even more weight. Charlie’s voice reached far beyond the borders of America; and his courage in faith is something I will always honor.
I pray for his family. For peace. For comfort. And for the strength to carry the light he left behind.
This weekend in London reminded me why I created The Coach Valley. It’s not just a brand. It’s a sanctuary. A place where presence is sacred, growth is intentional, and coaching is rooted in truth.
If you’re a coach, a seeker, or someone simply longing to reconnect with your inner compass — I invite you to explore the Valley. It’s not about perfection. It’s about presence.
Let’s walk together.
